TV Verdict is an independent buying-guide site for people choosing a television in the UK. We are not a retailer, we do not sell televisions, and we do not accept payment to change a conclusion.
We research the televisions actually sold in the UK and explain — in plain English — what the differences between them mean for a real purchase. Most TV marketing is built on numbers nobody can check. Our job is to translate specifications into consequences: what you'll notice, what you won't, and what isn't worth paying for.
We do not currently run our own lab measurements. We don't own a calibration suite, and we won't publish invented brightness, contrast or input-lag figures. Every specification on this site comes from manufacturer and retailer information, and we say so on each page. If we begin publishing our own measured results in future, each affected page will be updated and clearly labelled.
