TV Verdict does not ask you to register, does not sell your personal data, and does not run advertising profiles on you. We don't currently use third-party website analytics. Technical services that keep the site online (our CDN and web server) do process basic request data, as described below.
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies of our own, and we don't currently run third-party analytics.
When you click an outbound link to a retailer (for example Amazon UK), that retailer's own site sets its cookies and applies its own privacy policy. Our affiliate partner records that a click came from this site so a commission can be attributed — this does not identify you to us.
Some outbound links are affiliate links. They contain an identifier so the retailer's affiliate programme can attribute a sale to us. We receive aggregated reporting (clicks and orders), not your personal details. See our affiliate disclosure.
Technical logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interest in running a secure website, and are retained only as long as our providers require. Email correspondence is retained as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up.
Under UK GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability in relation to personal data we hold. Because we hold very little, in practice this usually means your email correspondence with us. To make a request, email [email protected]. If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
This site is intended for adults making purchasing decisions. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
